These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the evstudio.ca website and any related online tools, forms, and content (together, the "Site"), operated by EV Studio ("EV Studio," "we," "us," or "our"), a motor dealer registered in British Columbia with its dealership at 13307 King George Blvd, Surrey, BC V3T 2T3.
By using the Site you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
1. Who may use the Site
You must be at least the age of majority in your province of residence (19 in British Columbia) to submit a form, request financing, or book a test drive. If you are using the Site on behalf of an organization, you represent that you are authorized to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. The Site is informational; it is not an offer
Information on the Site — including vehicle listings, prices, specifications, range estimates, fuel-economy figures, finance examples, payment calculators, and promotional offers — is provided for general information and convenience. It does not constitute an offer to sell or a binding quote, and it does not create a contract.
A binding sale, lease, or financing arrangement only arises when a written agreement is signed by both you and an authorized EV Studio representative (in person or by electronic signature).
3. Vehicle information, availability, and pricing
We work to keep vehicle information current and accurate, but:
- Vehicles may be sold or removed without notice.
- Photos may show options or accessories not included in a specific vehicle.
- Specifications, options, range, fuel economy, and charging speeds are based on manufacturer or third-party data and real-world results vary.
- Prices are in Canadian dollars and exclude applicable taxes, levies, government fees, documentation fees, financing charges, freight, PDI, and any optional add-ons unless clearly stated.
- Manufacturer rebates and government incentives change frequently and are subject to eligibility rules set by the program operator.
- We reserve the right to correct any error, inaccuracy, or omission, and to change or update information (including after you have submitted an inquiry).
In the event of any conflict between information on the Site and the written purchase agreement you sign, the signed purchase agreement governs.
4. Calculators, quizzes, and estimates
Tools such as the Find My EV quiz, savings calculator, financing/payment calculator, and trade-in estimator generate estimates only, based on the information you provide and assumptions we have made. They are not guarantees of value, eligibility, payment, savings, range, or any other outcome. Final pricing, trade-in values, payments, and credit approvals are determined only after we inspect your vehicle (where applicable), verify your information, and a lender (where applicable) makes a credit decision.
5. Test drives, appointments, and online leads
When you book a test drive, request a vehicle, or submit any other form on the Site, you authorize us to contact you about your request by the methods you have provided. Test-drive bookings are subject to vehicle availability, valid driver's licence verification, and signing our test-drive agreement at the dealership. 6. Compliance with the Motor Dealer Act
EV Studio is a licensed motor dealer in British Columbia and is subject to the Motor Dealer Act, the Motor Dealer Act Regulation, and the rules of the Vehicle Sales Authority of British Columbia (VSA). Material-fact and damage-disclosure requirements set out by the VSA apply to vehicles we sell, and those disclosures are made in the written sale documentation.

7. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- use the Site in any way that violates applicable law or these Terms;
- submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through any form;
- impersonate any person or misrepresent your relationship to a person or organization;
- copy, scrape, harvest, or republish vehicle listings, images, or other content for any commercial purpose without our written consent;
- interfere with, disrupt, probe, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the Site, our servers, or any connected system;
- introduce viruses, malware, or other harmful code; or
- use the Site to send unsolicited commercial messages or to collect personal information about other users.
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms.
8. Intellectual property
The Site and all of its content — including text, graphics, photographs, logos, the EV Studio name and brand, the layout, and the underlying software — are owned by EV Studio or our licensors and are protected by Canadian and international intellectual property laws. We grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and view the Site for personal, non-commercial purposes. No other rights are granted.
Vehicle manufacturer logos, model names, and images are the property of their respective owners and are used for descriptive purposes only.
9. User submissions
If you submit a review, photo, comment, or other content to us through the Site, by email, or on social media, you grant EV Studio a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, and display that content in connection with our business, including in marketing materials, unless you tell us otherwise in writing. You represent that you own or have the necessary rights to the content and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.
10. Third-party sites and services
The Site may link to or embed content from third parties (manufacturer pages, lenders, mapping providers, social media). We are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your interactions with third parties are governed by their terms.
11. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site and all content are provided "as is" and "as available." EV Studio makes no representations or warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, accuracy, completeness, availability, or that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes any rights or remedies you have as a consumer under the British Columbia Business Practices and Consumer Protection Act, the Sale of Goods Act, or other consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
12. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EV Studio and our directors, officers, employees, agents, and service providers are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the Site. Our total aggregate liability arising out of these Terms or the Site, where liability cannot be excluded, is limited to one hundred Canadian dollars (CAD $100).
This section does not apply to liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (for example, liability for fraud or for breach of mandatory consumer-protection rights).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold EV Studio harmless from any claim, loss, damage, or expense (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your breach of these Terms, your misuse of the Site, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
14. Privacy and cookies
Your use of the Site is also governed by our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, which are incorporated into these Terms by reference.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may change these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect the most recent version. Material changes will be highlighted on the Site. Your continued use of the Site after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable in British Columbia, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules. The courts located in British Columbia have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Site, subject to any non-waivable consumer-protection rights you have to bring proceedings in your province of residence.
17. Severability and entire agreement
If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force. These Terms, together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, CASL Electronic Communications Policy, and any signed sale, lease, or financing agreement, are the entire agreement between you and EV Studio about your use of the Site.
